Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the EasyTrain Android app and the easytrainapp.com website (together, the “Service”). By downloading, accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. What EasyTrain is

EasyTrain is an independent informational and utility tool for Indian Railways passengers — PNR status, live train running, schedules, fares, seat and coach position, and related travel content. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to IRCTC, Indian Railways, the Ministry of Railways or any government entity. EasyTrain does not sell train tickets and is not a booking agent.

2. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
  • Scrape, copy, resell or redistribute the Service or its data without permission.
  • Attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer or gain unauthorised access to the Service or its systems.
  • Misuse railway data or use the Service to harass or harm others.

3. Information accuracy & no warranty

Train numbers, schedules, fares, PNR results, live-running and refund rules are sourced from publicly available information and third-party providers, and can change without notice. The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted availability. Always verify critical journey details on official IRCTC and Indian Railways channels before travelling or paying.

4. Advertising & third-party links

The Service is free and supported by advertising. It may also contain links to third-party sites and affiliate partners (for example hotel, flight and bus partners reached via our redirect links). We are not responsible for the content, products or practices of third-party sites, and your dealings with them are solely between you and that third party. We may earn a commission on some links.

5. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, EasyTrain and its team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from missed trains, delays, cancellations, incorrect data, ticket or refund issues, or reliance on information provided through the Service. Your sole remedy if you are dissatisfied is to stop using the Service.

6. Intellectual property

The EasyTrain name, logo, app and original site content are owned by us and protected by applicable laws. You may not use them without prior written permission. Third-party trademarks (including IRCTC and Indian Railways) belong to their respective owners and are referenced only for identification.

7. Changes & termination

We may modify or discontinue any part of the Service, and may update these Terms, at any time. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We may suspend access for users who violate these Terms.

8. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy and Disclaimer.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to applicable law, courts located in India shall have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from the Service.
